Time Magazine has selected four journalists and one magazine for the 2018 Person of the Year (TIME Person of the Year 2018). Jamal Khashoggi was murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. On October 2, Jamal Khashoggi went inside a Saudi Embassy’s Consulate near one o’clock in the day. According to the reports, he went to Embassy to take documents related to Divorce. Khashoggi was to do second marriage with his fiancee Hatice Cengiz. His fiancee Hatice was waiting for him outside the embassy. But after waiting for several hours, Khashoggi did not come out, and Jamal’s two phones were also close to Hatice.
The next morning, the Saudi Arabian government issued a statement and said that Jamal Khashoggi was missing. In the statement of the government, it was said that Khashoggi had left the embassy of Saudi after taking his papers and since then he is missing.
