The World Health Organization (WHO) expects the report on the coronavirus’s origin to be published next week.
The research report would actually be made public at the beginning of this week, but that has been postponed by at least a week.
For the investigation, experts went to Wuhan, China, to find out how the virus originated. The Dutch virologist Marion Koopmans was also there. A press conference was already held at the end of the field investigation in China.
There it was said by a Chinese researcher that the virus could have several sources, but that it probably comes from animals.
Scientists who did not participate have criticized the research because it would only work with data that has been released by the Chinese government and is therefore not independent.
