The United States is going to give its AstraZeneca corona vaccines to other countries.
It is about 60 million doses that will be provided as soon as they become available, according to a corona adviser to the US government.
The authorities will first consider safety, American media report. Last month, the White House announced that it would send approximately 4 million doses of AstraZeneca to Canada and Mexico.
And the Biden government is under increasing pressure to share the vaccine with India and other countries as well.
AstraZeneca was discredited after reports of blood problems in some vaccines. The European watchdog EMA talks about extremely rare side effects but believes that those disadvantages do not outweigh the benefits.
